We invited four national moving companies to submit bids for our move—all but one of these estimates were done virtually because of COVID. There were several reasons we chose to go with Allied and although cost was clearly a major factor, it wasn’t our top criterion. Among the features that drew us to Allied was a more convenient pick-up (and drop off) date and willingness to work with us on two delivery sites—the bulk to storage but a small number of items to a rental home. By the time Pat scheduled our virtual walkthrough and estimate, we’d had two other experiences so had a basis for comparisons—and the contrast was pretty impressive.
